The opening reception for my latest exhibit was at the Maturango Museum in Ridgecrest, California. Proud to say this was my 9th exhibit at a museum. It was well attended and fun answering questions from the attendees. Met with several interesting people and was interviewed by an editor, Jessica Weston,  from the local paper, The Daily Independent. Read article on the exhibit: Becky Olvera Schultz Mixes it Up

The volunteer ladies prepared a wonderful spread of food which was well presented featuring several quality home made healthy dishes which everyone enjoyed.

This exhibit features 50 works of art including Native American masks, Southwestern masks, serigraphs, photography, rawhide shields and mixed media pieces. This exhibit runs until March 10th.

The Maturango Museum is open 7 days a week from 10 to 5 and is located at 100 East Las Flores Ave., Ridgecrest, CA 93555. 760-375-6900
