Native American Art Mask Joins Red Wolf Mask in Private Collection

Vintage Mask Finds New Home

In January, 2022, another one of art clay masks, Maya, was added to a private collector’s very extensive collection of unique masks from all over the world. Maya has joined my large bison horned mask, Red Wolf, in the Urban Tribe Collection.

Maya is made of clay, painted with gold paint and adorned with extra long black horse hair. The earrings are discs made of clay and the topknot is wrapped in wire.

I’ve created many masks since 1993 and most have sold relatively soon after creation but a few of the originals, like Maya, have only recently left my body of work.
