Native American Art Exhibit April 3-June 4, 2026

Free and open to the public art reception Saturday, April 18 from 1-3 pm at Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula in their lovely gallery entrance. The address is 490 Aqualito Road in Carmel.
An opportunity to view the mixed media art by indigenous artist, Becky Olvera Schultz (Shawnne/Kickapoo), who has been creating award winning art since 1993. On display are clay/mixed Native Americn masks, a Southwestern Bison Horn Gourd mask, photography, serigraphs, rawhide shields and mix media works. All available for sale. Meet the artist and enjoy the art. Her art has been featured in 9 solo museum exhibitions over the years as well as countless exhibitions in California as well as in juried national exhibits. She recently organized and promoted the first ever Holiday Native Arts Market in December in Santa Cruz County which was an overwhelming success. She plans on organizing another market mid year and another one in December.
There will be a canvas print of her newest original mixed media work, Return of the Sky People. A follow up to her previous piece, Sky People Welcome Gathering. There will also be a canvas print on display of this piece also.
