Becky began creating art masks in a Southwestern theme as a compliment to her Native American themed masks because this style enabled her to use a larger variety of colors and in a more whimical way. Her Native American masks used primarily the four colors of the Medicine Wheel and Four Directions; red, white, black and yellow. Her Southwestern gourd and clay masks use a much wider variety of colors. Some of these are inspired by symbols in the Southwest and by the Sky Gods native peoples talk about in there history.
